JULIO MONZÓN, MSC
Julio is interested in the ecology of tropical rainforests, with a special focus on the biodiversity of moths. In recent years, Julio has research on tiger moths, mainly addressing PA pharmacophagy, optimising sampling methodology and measuring diversity in highly diverse insect communities.
Julio is extremely fascinated by and engaged in research and conservation of the Amazon rainforest, especially collaborating with the Panguana Foundation in the Peruvian rainforest. Julio gained more than three years of field experience in the rainforest, mainly in Peru.
